While driving south with her children, the reporter's daughter said she saw a tall, hair-covered, man-like figure walking into the woods beside the highway. The reporter herself did not see the figure. The daughter described seeing only its back for a few seconds through trees bare of lower branches. On the return trip the reporter noticed the Eufaula exit sign and recalled a television program about sightings in that area.
Brief daylight sighting of a small primate type creature in a pine forest near Jacksonville
The witness was riding a golf cart through wooded property in early afternoon when he noticed a small dark primate-like animal squatting in an old road. After passing it, he reversed and saw it beside the road bending down a small pine branch to peer at him for a few seconds. It then ran into thick brush, appearing to move upright, and the shaken witness did not check for tracks.
Possible night time encounter while fishing near Atwater
Two brothers were night-fishing from a secluded point when they broadcast loud predator calls for about 90 minutes and then sat quietly. The witness heard footsteps approaching through the woods and shone a high-powered spotlight toward the sound. A loud, deafening scream/roar erupted, terrifying both men, who then gathered gear and left with one covering their exit. They reported sensing movement about 20 to 30 yards away and hearing branches breaking in another direction but seeing no distinct shape.

The witness was inside a home in Snohomish, WA late at night with a north-facing window open and heard loud screaming sounds coming from the north. The sounds continued off and on for about 45 minutes to an hour and were accompanied by neighborhood dogs barking. The witness did not see anything, thought there may have been two sources calling back and forth, and compared the sounds to known recorded screams.

A couple traveling separately on a winding mountain road each reported seeing a large hairy biped. The husband reportedly saw it cross the road and head downhill toward the river, while the wife shortly after saw it cross back and climb uphill. They reunited, compared notes, and later found sign where an animal had passed. Both concluded they had seen the same Bigfoot-like animal.
Family hears whooping sounds while hiking Marys Peak
A family of five was hiking on a forest trail when they heard deep guttural whooping sounds nearby. The sounds alternated from different directions as if two individuals were communicating and continued intermittently for about 40 minutes while the group climbed. The adults kept the children in a tight group until they left the forest section and the sounds stopped.

The witness hiked into the national forest in late afternoon to photograph woods and wildlife and waited near a utility clearing. After briefly seeing a juvenile bear emerge and retreat, the witness turned and noticed a large upright human-like shape close by in thick brush. A tree trunk snapped and fell toward the witness, who fled to the car and drove away, later concluding the shape might have been a Sasquatch.

The witness and a relative were fishing at a lake in the early morning when they heard a series of unusual sounds from the woods. The sounds progressed from owl-like hoots to monkey-like chatter, then to repeated loud low screams or deep howls, followed by dog-like barking and yelping. They also heard what sounded like large rocks splashing into the water at a distance. Feeling increasingly uneasy, they left the area a short time later.

The witness went into a mossy wooded area with companions to look for reptiles and amphibians. After hearing three knocks on a tree, the witness walked toward large boulders and reported seeing a creature with reddish-brown hair and amber eyes crouched behind brush. The witness fled to the road, told the companion to leave immediately, and returned home after being away about an hour.

The witness went with two companions to a river area to swim and fish and wandered a short distance away. After hearing thumping, the witness saw a tall hairy figure on a hill partially concealed by brush and a boulder looking down. They observed each other for about a minute before the witness fled to the car and drove home with the companions.

The witness was hunting and shot a duck that fell near a pond. While searching for the duck, a large furred animal burst from cover and ran on its hind legs. The witness fled and the dog chased the animal, with the dog returning later miles away and only the duck's wings found.

The witness was camping overnight with family and companions. He stepped out of his tent in the early morning to relieve himself and heard grunting very close by, then went back inside. While inside he heard movement approach, contact with a vehicle and brushing along the tent with grunting and sniffing, before it walked away.

The witness was walking back from a boat launch in the evening when rustling sounds drew attention to the treeline. Looking into the trees, the witness saw a large dark-brown figure crouched behind brush about 50 to 60 yards away. Thinking it could be a bear, the witness backed away and left the woods quickly, then saw a very large animal running through the woods.

In summer 2009, the witness was driving along a road bordered by woods in the late afternoon. A tall dark creature crossed the road ahead into an old tree farm entrance in three steps at a casual pace. The witness stopped at the entrance but the animal was gone, leaving a strong musky animal odor.

The witness hiked into dense timber to scout for signs and found arches, tree breaks, and woven saplings. After hearing an unexplained sharp noise from the hilltop, the witness waited and then heard two distinct clacks described as rocks struck together. The witness then left the hill and exited the area.

The witness stepped onto his porch at night to leave the house when he felt watched. He saw a tall hairy figure leaning against an oak at the yard edge staring at him. After his wife called out, the figure looked toward the house then walked away up a hill and disappeared into the treeline.

After fishing, the witness sat on the bed of his truck at a parking area above a swamp at night. He watched a dark figure with shining eyes approach to within about 10 yards. After he whistled to announce his presence, the figure stood upright on two legs and retreated while watching him, tripped and got back up, then disappeared behind trees. He left immediately and did not return for some time.

The witness claims to have left home on foot and found a dark mixed-color figure digging in a green trash can. The figure reportedly made a loud roar, stomped, jumped over a fence and ran, and also looked in a bedroom window. It reportedly threw a foam cup at the witness and raised its arms while holding a small black-like creature.

During a family hike, the witness reported first feeling watched on a trail, then later seeing a very tall hair-covered figure from behind near a cliff edge in dense brush. The figure stood up from the vegetation and walked quickly and smoothly out of sight. She described long brownish hair to the waist and said she did not believe it was human.
