In the early afternoon the witness parked at a powerline clearcut to watch for deer. After about ten minutes a large dark bipedal figure crossed the open area toward the treeline and stepped into the woods when the witness got out for a closer look. The witness watched from the vehicle, called someone, and recorded video on a phone. A dismantled deer carcass was found very close by.

Early one morning in 2017 the witness was driving with a companion toward a boat ramp for a fishing trip. While navigating an S-curve, the witness saw a tall hairy figure cross the road from left to right about 75 yards ahead, moving from shadow into a sunlit patch. The figure disappeared behind a blind spot before the vehicle reached the crossing point, and the companion did not see it. After stopping at the location, the witness found no tracks, trail, or odor.

While turkey hunting the witness cut across a sawgrass field and found a large piled mound of pulled-up sawgrass interpreted as a bed or nest, larger than a pickup truck bed. He also noted nearby palmetto palms stripped of branches. An investigator later visited the remote site with the witness, measured and photographed the structure and examined its construction.

The witness and his father heard knocks while at a campfire and went to investigate hearing movement on both sides. The father saw a heat signature peeking from behind a tree on thermal, then it darted out after he kicked a palmetto. They left, later viewing the thermal that showed it moving tree to tree.

In 2012 the witness took his son to Myakka State Park. They found a 14 to 14.5-inch track off the main trail, followed back-and-forth walking in palmettos, and the son then saw a very tall creature for four to six seconds and drew it. Park staff directed them to a biologist who dismissed it without viewing the drawing.

The witness was hiking on a trail and noticed a tall structure made of bent and broken trees that he thought might be related to Sasquatch activity. He recorded video of the structure. While heading back, a relative showed him a large possible footprint in sand, which he also recorded.

Several months after Hurricane Andrew, the witness and companions were hog hunting from swamp buggies near Big Cypress. After driving through the area overnight, the witness found large human-like bipedal tracks in mud near a water pool, with unusual depth and stride, and later found fresh tracks at the same spot and another set miles away. The group videotaped the tracks and compared them with their own footprints. No creature was seen, and the witness later wondered whether the tracks were from a skunk ape or a prank.

The witness's family discovered a long trail of large footprints on their hunting property on a winter weekend in 1991. They followed the trail for over a mile past creeks and cabins and through a barbed-wire fence, making plaster casts of a right and left print. They also reported finding a palm-frond bedding area and palms with hearts eaten nearby.

On night two the camp team spotted something large in the tree line on thermal at about a 180-yard shot near a 40-foot tree. Several members went out to get a better look. As soon as they got close it vanished with nothing more seen or heard.

During the first night of a week-long expedition in South Florida, a team using night vision caught red eyeshine about 15 feet away and estimated over eight feet off the ground. The narrator notes the operator had shined many animals but never seen red eyeshine. No creature form is described beyond the glow.
