Several months after Hurricane Andrew, the witness and companions were hog hunting from swamp buggies near Big Cypress. After driving through the area overnight, the witness found large human-like bipedal tracks in mud near a water pool, with unusual depth and stride, and later found fresh tracks at the same spot and another set miles away. The group videotaped the tracks and compared them with their own footprints. No creature was seen, and the witness later wondered whether the tracks were from a skunk ape or a prank.

The witness's family discovered a long trail of large footprints on their hunting property on a winter weekend in 1991. They followed the trail for over a mile past creeks and cabins and through a barbed-wire fence, making plaster casts of a right and left print. They also reported finding a palm-frond bedding area and palms with hearts eaten nearby.

After noticing droppings in the road, they found a trail of large bare human-like footprints with five toes leading up a bank. The witness and his cousin heard noises outside the house for about 20 minutes and went into the backyard with a flashlight. They saw a tall hair-covered figure standing just beyond a six-foot fence staring at them. After a few seconds they ran back inside frightened. The next morning they found two deep impressions in the sandy soil beyond the fence.

On October 20 they rode up the creek bed and encountered a large muscular creature standing by the water, which the companion filmed while the guest covered him. The guest and two companions landed by float plane to film lake trout and found a line of large human-like tracks with no claw marks coming out of the water across sand and gravel. The tracks continued in a straight line and appeared to step over seven-foot-tall spruce trees and onward across tundra. The camp owner angrily dismissed the report as a hoax and refused to fly to look for the animal.

After a newspaper story ran, a retired couple reported odd tracks in their backyard less than half a mile from where the first trackway was lost. The trail showed a 13-foot step, then several 6-foot steps, then 10-foot steps near a motion light, then sidestepping and side-by-side prints with a drag mark off a wall. The investigator measured and filmed them and could not find continuation in neighboring yards.

While driving to a bridge over a creek, the witness mistook a large hunched figure for a hunter. As he pulled over it ran upright down into the creek then went on all fours up the other side and vanished. He chased with a phone camera and found odd toe-dig prints.

While setting out food one evening after a tree fell, the guest heard something large approach fast and saw two red eyes facing him. He recorded about five minutes as it looked at him and toward loud brush-tearing nearby, its eyes shifting color in the light. It later peeked from behind a tree about ten feet away before withdrawing. Next morning he found a track and a freshly split tree where it stood.

While tracking hogs the group crossed Sasquatch prints and followed them to dugouts under a bank. The guest looked up and saw two figures watching him and called companions over. All watched them as one moved its head between the group and the other figure, while he attempted to film.

The same truck-driver couple described ongoing activity at a cabin property they bought about three years ago on the outskirts of Mark Twain National Forest. After a few months all regular wildlife stopped visiting, and motion cameras began triggering nightly around 10-11 with nothing visible but low growls and a distant siren-like scream that set dogs barking. They also found footprints with toe ridges, fresh tree breaks, bent and intertwined trees, and a semi-circular stacked-log structure of large broken trees behind the property.

Guiding a night group, the guest used a thermal and saw a large figure step from behind a pine about 100 yards away, then a second smaller one peeking. They watched 15 minutes until the battery died, heard movement, screaming and chatter for hours, and next morning found scat and hundreds of footprints over their tracks.

On a third visit the witness saw a black juvenile-like Sasquatch under 50 feet away that vanished when he turned for his camera. His partner then saw it waist-up behind dirt, they found fresh fingerprints, a teammate saw it spider-crawl into the pipeline, and all three watched a larger one run across the pipeline on all fours.

Alone on a riverbed the day after finding a very large track, the guest found a deer drag, smelled urine and deer, then startled a massive dark animal lying prone. A smaller animal walked away nearby while the large one crashed through trees, left deep turning prints and 23-inch tracks, then watched from cover about 40 feet away for over an hour while being videoed.

The witness and two companions followed two large bipedal animals that were chasing wild hogs into an area of deep washouts. They documented large clay dugouts and 17-inch footprints and then recorded the two animals watching them from a short distance. After being flanked, the group backed out to an old logging road while hearing sticks and snaps. The witness later said the video files and some photos were missing from his computer.

They called emergency services, received no immediate response, and documented the scene on video. The account was later subject to alleged pressure and editing requirements.
