The witness received a motion alert from a cellular trail camera overlooking a creek and saw a single large brown-and-black bipedal figure standing in the water about 100 feet away. A live view checked seconds later showed the figure was gone, and an evening search found no footprints. Comparison photos with a 6-foot relative standing at the same spot suggested the figure was several feet taller and two to three times wider.

The next afternoon they found two lines of large human-like barefoot prints in fresh snow leading toward and past the window, merging into one line before crossing the road toward a treeline. The larger prints were measured at 13 to 14 inches long with strides over five feet, while smaller prints were interpreted as a juvenile. Photos and measurements were taken before melt and wind degraded the tracks.
