Large diameter tree found twisted... PHOTOS

A 7 to 8 inch diameter alder tree near campsites was reported with a twist about six feet up that looked fresh. No other nearby trees were damaged in the wind-sheltered area. The tree had been marked with a number at the break and was documented in photos.

Creature heard running, track casts made

Something was heard running up a steep rocky incline. Two plaster casts measuring 16 by 4 inches were made of prints found at the site. Branches broken at five and six feet were also found where something appeared to grab while crossing a fence.

The Database of Unexplained Encounters. Claims are recorded as claims: the Anomadex catalogues what people reported, where it was reported, and how sure I am that it was read correctly. It does not rule on what they saw.

A quick ask from the person behind the Anomadex: if you allow analytics, Google Analytics shows me which places, phenomena and searches you're most curious about. That tells me which regions and sources to add next and what to make easier to find. It never sees your name or anything you send me, and nothing is set unless you say yes. Privacy
