The witness was lying awake in her motorhome at a secluded river property shortly after midnight when she heard loud banging sounds alternating between two directions. She interpreted the sounds as coming from two individuals exchanging signals. After falling asleep and waking in the morning, she found a single large bare footprint near the gravel walkway and photographed it before it was accidentally erased.

After returning to the vehicle for a camera battery, the witness found a line of large tracks crossing a dirt berm that had not been there earlier. Two men sat in complete darkness in a forest hotspot talking and playing harmonicas to invite contact while two companions monitored from about 100 yards with a thermal imager. After hearing a stick break and soft knocks, they reported seeing a small red-orange light near the ground that illuminated ferns and silhouetted what looked like a large finger with knuckles moving toward them before fading. They remained on site afterward playing music and talking.

The witness and four companions were pausing in a hay field during a target-practice outing when the witness spotted a large dark figure rising from a blackberry patch. The figure walked across a trail, paused by a fir tree and looked toward the group, then continued into an adjacent field. The group went to the spot, found flattened brush and a bent-grass trail, estimated the figure's height against the tree, took photos, and then heard knocking beats and hooting sounds after birds flushed and dogs barked in the distance.

The witness and a companion were clearing branches in a logged area behind the house when they found rock piles and ten small grass bundles containing field mice. The dogs became agitated and a thrown rock struck the witness's hand. No animal was seen, but wood-on-wood knocking was heard several times over the next few hours.

The witness claims a family group has visited a rural wooded property regularly for nearly two years, typically evenings to early mornings several times a week. Reported activity includes footprints, wood knocks, odors, vocalizations, trail and structure formation, and direct sightings with food exchange and close interactions. An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.

During a late-season muzzleloader elk hunt the witness and a companion found a large five-toed barefoot print in semi-frozen ground. That evening while glassing a prairie they heard a loud knock from about 150 yards away. The next morning they found three more large prints of the same size and shape in a sandy wash, spaced about 80 inches apart, with one beyond a log showing no break in stride.

He then smelled a foul odor, felt watched, and heard repeated loud knocking sounds while returning to his car. While hunting deer with a companion in October 1996, the witness found two well-defined human-like footprint sets in mud of very different sizes. About five minutes later a very loud pounding was heard from dense woods downhill no more than about 50 feet away, prompting them to move away. About 300 yards away they found a third footprint set intermediate in size between the first two.

Later while working the witness felt watched, heard a stick-banging sound on a tree that he could not locate, and noticed deer had left the area. The boss believed the tracks were sasquatch, and the witness came to believe a bigfoot was watching them.

The witness and companion drove up a forest road and found a green tree about thirty feet long knocked across the road with footprints and flattened grass nearby. After whooping, they heard three tree knocks near a parked woman and then a single knock close to themselves. The woman and her husband asked about the noises and left.
