The witness was camping overnight with friends in the Mount Baker National Forest near the river. Between 2 and 3 a.m. she heard movement approach her tent and brush against it, while a companion in a truck reportedly felt a nudge and saw a fleeting shadow. The next morning the witness found multiple large footprints around her tent, the trail and vehicles and made a plaster cast of the clearest one. While waiting alone in camp later that day she heard persistent clicking from the woods and felt watched.

Two people walking across a frozen lake found a trackway of very large five-toed footprints and followed it for several hundred yards toward the opposite shore. The prints were described as 14-16 inches long with a bridge-like ridge and spaced 5-7 feet apart. While in the area they also heard intermittent small thudding sounds in short bursts.

An investigator later reviewed photos of broken and twisted trees and received frozen scat and hair samples for examination.

The husband and a companion went to investigate and saw an entity 50 yards away hiding between two silos, noted for goldish reflective eyes, with a second smaller similar entity present on the last night. As a teenager living on his mother's horse farm, the guest repeatedly heard loud dawn screams and movement near the trash burn pit. One snowy night the household arrived to find the porch light out and heard a whimpering cry and heavy bipedal steps moving around the house and into the woods, followed by a loud hiss that shook the horse barn where a large dog was chained. The next morning the family found large barefoot-like tracks in snow leading from the driveway around the house and over a fence, which they followed for about half a mile and photographed beside a size 14 shoe.

After hearing tree breaks, movement, strange noises and heavy footsteps, the witness saw a large red bipedal animal walk along the road. When the witness spoke on the radio the animal screamed and ran away, and two large footprints were later found in silt.
