Five miners prospecting near Mount St. Helens found large tracks and later shot at a creature watching near a tree. That night multiple creatures attacked their cabin, throwing rocks and trying to enter from all sides including the roof. The men fired back until just before dawn when the creatures left.

A father and son were returning from an unsuccessful hunting trip when the father stopped by a fallen tree to light his pipe and saw a tall hairy unclothed figure standing nearby. The figure vocalized loudly after noticing the man, then walked quickly toward the woods. The son joined his father and both watched the first figure and a second slightly smaller one walk along the woods edge before disappearing into the trees.

A party out driving with horses through a hill pass had a lead horse become unmanageable and show terror as a wild cry came from the thicket, refusing to pass. A surveying party traveling through the Rocky Mountains in winter came upon a large, well-defined track in shallow snow on ice. The track was measured at about fourteen inches long by eight inches wide with four toe marks and was seen extending about a hundred yards from north to south. The party chose not to follow it, with companions unwilling to pursue such a large animal with small guns, and the party leader recorded uncertainty whether it was an unusually large bear or something else.

As a child on a family vacation at a secluded cabin, the witness experienced nighttime garbage disturbance and loud branch snapping during an afternoon walk. One morning the family found several very large footprints in damp dirt outside the cabin, so large that an adult foot was dwarfed inside one. The family left the same day without making a cast of the prints.
Possible tracks found in Jasper National Park
The witness was solo backpacking in the North Boundary area of Jasper National Park in 1987 or 1988. Near midday he found several very fresh, large human-like barefoot prints crossing the muddy trail at an angle from dense bush toward a bog. He estimated they were less than an hour old but took no photos and continued hiking, later concluding they may have been sasquatch tracks. He reported nothing else unusual for the rest of the trip.

The witness reported finding very large footprint-like tracks in melting snow on a road south of Hope, B.C., with an unusually long stride. The snow had melted to gravel within the outlines, but the shape looked more like a footprint than a boot print. The witness returned home for a camera and yardstick to document track size and spacing and shared photos to ask whether they could be Bigfoot tracks.

In early August 1995, a couple fishing at a neighbor's pond near Addison found large footprints, hair-like material and disturbed vegetation. Additional prints appeared on subsequent days on different sides of the pond. State wildlife officials and university staff examined casts and samples but did not identify the source.

A tall shape then appeared at the side window, and they remained huddled inside without sleep until morning. The witness, working as a night security guard at a facility, stepped onto a rear deck for a patrol around 3 a.m. and heard an extremely loud female-sounding scream from the wooded hillside about 100 feet away. After sunrise he inspected the nearby trail and found large footprints that he measured. He later found a similar scream online and said it matched what he heard.

Before school the witness and his mother saw a large brown biped moving along a powerline toward woods behind their home. The witness ran toward the treeline and watched the creature pause and turn its upper body to look at him from about 50 yards, then stride away down a creekbed and disappear. Later that day he and his father found large heel impressions where it had leapt off a bank.

One evening around dusk the witness sat locked out on the front porch of the parents' wooded house. A very large hair-covered biped approached to about 40-50 yards, paused and stared with glowing red eyes for about half a minute, then ran away rapidly breaking branches. The next morning large footprints were found in wet driveway dirt but were washed away by rain before they could be photographed.

The owner heard noises by his fenced trash area late at night and went to look with a rifle. He saw an ape-like animal outside the fence, fired into the air, and watched it stand up with its shoulders and head above the 6-foot fence before fleeing through bushes toward the woods. Footprints were left only in soft dirt by the bushes and one was preserved as a plaster cast.

The witness's brother spent the night alone in a camper parked in the driveway. Around 1:30 a.m. he watched a shadow move across the curtained window and translucent roof, apparently cast by a neighbor's porch light, as something slowly circled the camper while lightly tapping its sides. The next morning the family found fingerprint smudges, a large handprint, and large toeprints in spilled sand.
