Two campers find a 17 inch footprint near their camp
The witness and a companion were backpacking to fish when they missed a trail marker and camped overnight on a bluff below a canyon rim. The witness reported feeling watched overnight. The next morning the companion found a single large five-toed footprint in wet sand near a spring about 80 feet from camp, which both examined. Noting rain the prior morning had left drop patterns everywhere except the print, and smelling a musty odor, they left the area.
Tracks in Kentucky (1973)
The following spring the grandfather woke the guest and his brother on Easter morning to show deep large footprints in mud outside the bedroom window trailing to the parents window and front porch. To keep the mother from seeing them the grandfather had the boys wash the tracks away with well water. Later that day the brothers found matching large tracks in the field where the 1972 figure stood, measured one at about 19 inches, then heard an owl-like hoot tapering to a growl and fled.

On a snowy cold day two teenage friends walked railroad tracks and found fresh animal intestines in the snow with no animal footprints around. They stopped to examine the trail and concluded the prints were not from a bear, snowshoes, or anything familiar. Frightened by the size and human appearance of the tracks, they left the area quickly.

Hundreds of very large footprints were found in hard river silt and followed for about two miles up the riverbank and into dense bush. The maker reportedly dug with its toes on a hillside climb and grabbed trees, uprooting smaller ones. The account was relayed by a relative of the tracker, with a track photograph later reported to exist.
Man recalls early morning sighting while squirrel hunting near Salyersville
The witness was sitting quietly while squirrel hunting in Magoffin County in late September 1972 when he saw a large reddish-brown creature about 70 yards away. The creature walked away on two legs from right to left, pausing briefly to look around before continuing out of sight, apparently unaware of the witness. Afterward the witness found several large human-shaped footprints where the creature had walked.

When the witness was about seven, the family found very large footprints on a Lake Superior beach. While leaving through the woods toward the car they heard loud screeching and something large jumping nearby without being seen. They left quickly in the car, with the witness feeling the source was too big to be people.

The witness, then a child, was hunting with the witness's father and a companion along a river when a very loud single scream lasting several seconds stopped the group and frightened them. The older hunters reportedly had never heard a similar animal sound. As the group left the area, the companion reported movement in nearby trees and large footprints in the river sand.

As a child the witness and friends found very large pressed-down beds in tall grass in a field that could fit several kids. In winter at the same spot they found very large footprints in snow with long stride they could not match. They joked about giants at the time and thought no more of it until later.

A group staying in a high-elevation pine forest reported repeated large footprints and strange nighttime sounds over an unspecified period. During one late-night episode, one person looking out from a shelter saw a large shape briefly enter moonlight and then leave. A group hiked to remote mountain lakes and fished. The witness heard branches breaking and a very loud wood-on-wood knock, then smelled a strong foul stench. Pine cones landed sideways next to the witness and large tracks were seen in smashed grass, with a sense of being watched and shadowed until leaving the plateau. No creature was seen.
Late night sighting by children at a home in Calcutta
Late at night the witness and a friend went downstairs for a snack and switched on a light by a large window that lit the backyard. They saw a large bipedal creature walking away from the house, which briefly turned its upper body toward the light before leaving the illuminated area. Both ran back to the bedroom and stayed there until morning, and the witness found large depressions in the grass the next day.

Two men running dogs without guns approached strange barking at a fence. A creature stood up, blocked their lights with a hand, then followed them through cornfields to a field edge before turning back. Next day footprints and a handprint were found in creek mud and trailing dogs refused to follow.
Future doctor sees giant tracks high in Rawah wilderness
In summer 1971 the witness and two companions found about a dozen very large human-like footprints crossing remaining snow patches in a high alpine meadow in a Colorado wilderness area. The prints were described as well-detailed, much larger than a large human foot with a stride of four feet or more, and were judged not to be bear tracks, with no prints visible on firm ground between snow patches. The witness noted possible enlargement by summer melt and refreeze and considered a hoax unlikely due to remoteness, and left the area frightened.

The witness and a relative followed large human-like tracks in mud from the edge of a soybean field through a forest into a clearing. The clearing contained many dog prints in a circle and blood on the ground. The tracks then continued into a bog.

The witness and two companions were hunting deer in fresh snow when they found very fresh large human-like barefoot tracks. They followed the tracks about 50 yards to a dirty depression where something large appeared to have been lying, then saw the tracks continue downhill. No animal was seen, and heavy snow limited visibility to a few yards.
Hunters have an encounter returning from hunt
Three elk hunters walking back toward camp heard a loud crash and chased what they assumed was a bull elk to the rim of a deep, steep-sided canyon. From across the canyon the reporter watched through a rifle scope as a tall, black-haired biped ran up the opposite slope on two feet and briefly turned to show its face in profile before entering the trees. The group chose not to pursue closely, later backtracked the trail toward the highway, and examined broken vegetation and footprints the following day.
