Ongoing activity and sightings on a hunting lease in central Florida (witness sketch included)
At dusk in 2012 the witness was sitting alone in a tree stand during archery season. He heard a loud scream from a nearby swamp, then heard heavy footsteps circling behind him where he could not see. An object was thrown through the trees over him and a stone struck the tree he was in, after which he yelled toward the sounds and left for his truck.

The witness was playing in woods near home with companions when breaking sticks and sounds of something large approaching were heard through dense undergrowth. Sticks were thrown as the group retreated, and the witness briefly saw a very tall hair-covered biped peering from behind a large tree before running out scared. The initial report of something big was brushed off until similar local reports months later prompted detailed questioning.
Vocalization in Florida
During a large group campout the witness and friends heard a powerful roar from an oak hammock after the campfire flared up. Three went to investigate and found a large round hay bale thrown from a flatbed truck with a bounce indentation and mud. Next morning large human-like tracks were found circling the entire campsite.
