Four young men camped on a companion's land and heard approaching grunts, heavy footsteps and foul odor across a creek at dusk. After a rock was thrown toward the unseen sounds, something shrieked, circled the camp and emitted a loud high-pitched scream, prompting them to leave and later return with a parent. The primary witness heard noises again overnight, and the next morning the group found large footprints, hair and a bedding area before the primary witness briefly saw a tall hair-covered upright creature that looked at him and ran away.

Two people backpacking found several large fresh bipedal footprints on a steep forest slope. One track was measured at 16 inches long, with a stride over four feet that was difficult to replicate on the slope. They followed the tracks uphill to a large volcano-shaped nest of pine needles and photographed the track and nest.

While deer hunting, the witness found a large hut-like structure of limbs and brush with a dug-out dirt floor that was dry inside. The witness returned the next day with two companions and a camera to photograph the structure. They then found large footprints on a nearby game trail, felt watched, and left the area.

The witness's family discovered a long trail of large footprints on their hunting property on a winter weekend in 1991. They followed the trail for over a mile past creeks and cabins and through a barbed-wire fence, making plaster casts of a right and left print. They also reported finding a palm-frond bedding area and palms with hearts eaten nearby.

They later found uprooted small trees, additional tracks in camp, hair on fencing, and a woody debris structure, and heard screaming and a howl that prompted a relative to leave camp.

Two people hiking a mountain trail in the morning reported seeing the back of a large black animal. They estimated its height from where its back had touched a tree branch. They also reported a wet-dog-like odor, a trail made by the animal, and a bed of leaves under cedar trees.

While staying at a farm, two children had a rock tossed at them in a clearing and were herded home by dogs. Over following months they heard screams and knocks, found a large footprint with ridges, a distressed horse, and disturbed hay resembling a nest in the barn loft. The witness recalls numerous puzzling occurrences from 30-40 years ago on a family farm of about 100 acres with orchards and woods. These included trees reportedly moved to block trails, an elaborate woven arch structure, large human-like footprints with long strides, rocks and a branch thrown near the witness, loud clicking exchanges, and nighttime disturbances around the barn and house. No creature was reportedly seen clearly, and the interpretation as possible Sasquatch activity developed over later years.

Next morning with his friend [name withheld] he found a huge bare footprint in wet mud under the sapling, estimated 8.5-9 feet tall using [name withheld]'s height, and nearby found a stick-bed with a strong repulsive odor.

The witness and a companion were camping in a tent on the witness's driveway in mid-October. Around 2 a.m. under a full moon, the witness awoke to grunting and snapping trees and saw a large hair-covered figure striking and eating a deer, then dragging it uphill. The figure approached the tent, giving off a strong musky odor and knocking a frying pan from a tree before leaving. In the morning the witness found deer remains, drag marks, and a shelter-like structure of bent and broken pines.

Two men camped in a valley found man-like tracks and followed them to a ravine. They watched a large hairy creature beating its chest, displaying strength by throwing a huge rock, near a foul cave with bones. They left without approaching.

A helicopter pilot pulling logs spotted a creature creeping toward the crew's stored lunches and warned the crew by radio. The crew chased it off. Later investigation found tracks and freshly picked vegetation piled like bedding under a low rock shelf.

The witness's wife heard shaking around the chicken coop then limb breaking in the front woods, believing two individuals were present. Days later the witness found a teepee-like limb structure and a path blocked by placed limbs. He also noted a taller similar structure in the back woods near where he had seen the figure.

The witness describes a fall investigation in a remote forest north of the city. A prior night vigil yielded stomps, calls, knocks and sounds of something circling camp. Follow-up reconnaissance found sharpened sticks staked across a game trail, tracks along a nearby river, and a very tall teepee structure the next day.

They documented large clay dugouts and 17-inch footprints and then recorded the two animals watching them from a short distance. After being flanked, the group backed out to an old logging road while hearing sticks and snaps. The witness later said the video files and some photos were missing from his computer.
