While walking alone down the dirt road the witness heard branches breaking then heavy elephant-like running steps behind him. Something kept pace with him in the trees with loud nasty huffing wheezing breathing. He ran home hyperventilating and his parents later found a pushed-over trail in the tall grass where something had run.

Dogs that normally chase sounds fled back to the house during these events.

The girlfriend reported it whistled at her, and next morning they found a single partial footprint in hard clay.

The witness and friends were camping in the Shenandoah Valley when they heard noises at a distance. About an hour later rocks the size of a hand began landing in the campsite, forcing them to take shelter in their cars. In the morning rangers said no other campers were registered and possible footprints were inconclusive.

At night the companion reported heavy footsteps, a large outline at the treeline, and large hairy bodies passing the tent while the tent was shaken violently. In the morning they found concentrated large footprints at the grease spill and the witness's own camp trashed.

While descending a mountain trail alone after climbing with companions, the rider stopped for unknown reasons and heard loud growling nearby that the mind reinterpreted as water. The rider felt suddenly hot and euphoric and began removing clothing despite cold wet weather until companions arriving and splashing through water broke the state. Later on the same ride the group found very large fresh human-like footprints without claws in untouched mud.

The witness and a companion were fishing at night under a river bridge when they found a fresh human-like track in the mud. They then heard loud roars ending in screams, heavy movement and thudding from across the river, had rocks thrown toward them, and heard splashing and grunting as they left. At the truck they found river mud spattered on the vehicle with a strong foul odor.

On a later family walk down the same two-track, the witness noticed a single bare footprint in the middle of the trail. No other prints were seen and no shoes or sandals would explain it. The witness wondered if it was from a young Sasquatch.

The guest's son woke the guest to listen to a loud high-pitched long vocalization that agitated a distant dog and then silenced a nearby dog. The next day the two followed the direction of the sound and found a large barefoot-like track and a smaller juvenile-like track in ice on a deer trail.

On the family's remote 100-acre property in southern Utah, the guest and his mother found two separate large footprints on different occasions showing toes, toe pads and heel, one partial in spongy ground and one clear enough to cast, described as about 17 inches long. At night after the woods went quiet, something heavy approached bipedally, roared, reached through pines shaking and pulling them, and lunged with huge hands. He knelt and put his shotgun in its midsection but did not fire when it backed off, then it screamed, circled the camp throwing trees, iron-ore rocks and dirt while they kept a bonfire burning until early morning.
