Family driving a rural two-track have a late day encounter north of Higgins Lake
The witness and two daughters were driving a pickup on a forest two-track in the evening to gather rocks for a fire pit. A tall black-haired biped ran across the trail in front of the vehicle in a forward-leaning run with arms hanging low, followed about 15 feet behind by a large gray wolf. Both continued up the hill on the far side and disappeared, and a next-day search found no tracks because of overnight heavy rain.
Possible track way found in the snow in Vaughn Woods State Park east of Dover
The witness was hiking alone in a snowy state park while occasionally whooping and knocking. She found a straight line of large, fresh footprints in snow from the previous day and followed it off-trail for about a quarter mile, noting toe and heel details in some prints. She documented the trackway with photos and video before turning back as daylight faded and her phone battery died.

The witness was driving to work through the park in the morning when she saw a large hairy brown figure standing on the roadside berm before it moved into the brush. The witness and her husband were snowshoeing in the early afternoon when they noticed a strong foul odor and a single set of large bipedal tracks in the snow. They followed the trackway for several hundred feet, noting a stride far longer than the husband could match. The witness and the relative then walked to the spot, found tracks, and estimated the figure's height at 8 feet from tree marks and the photo.

On the night of April 18, 2020 the witness was at home when a dog began barking persistently and a loud guttural growl was heard at the back door, also noticed by a cat. After waking her husband, who saw nothing from the back door, the witness called the dog from the front door and saw it react toward the back of the property. Looking from a guest-room window, she then watched a huge dark figure moving quickly across the neighbor's pasture to the northwest.

The teller's uncle walking his dog found a line of large human-like footprints in light snow dust on an old rail-trail through a large gun-club property. The teller came and measured 14 to 15 inch tracks in single-file heel-to-toe with a very long stride for 20 to 25 prints. The trackway doubled back and left into a cornfield where snow ended.

The witness reported large footprints in a light dusting of snow near the family home. A relative photographed one of several prints arranged in a row before they melted by midday. An investigator later reviewed the photos as inconclusive and visited the site to assess the nearby river corridor as cover for travel.

The witness reported hearing noises around the home weekly for months and then seeing a white, roughly 8.5- to 9-foot-tall creature about 40-50 feet away across the street near the forest at about 530am in the dark while using a strong flashlight. A footprint was found the next day. The witness was alone with dogs at the time.

The witness was riding as a passenger in a car driving back from an expedition on a sunny afternoon when he noticed movement on the left side of the road near a bridge. He reports seeing a reddish-brown hair-covered human-like figure for 2-3 seconds as it moved from a trench toward trees and froze with its body still while its eyes followed the car. He says he made eye contact, felt frightened, and froze without alerting the driver, only mentioning the sighting later after reaching the destination.

On September 11, 2016, the witness went to feed trout kept in a barrel at a spring on a family farm and found two fresh tracks in soft mud where cattle had been drinking. The witness chased the cattle away and made a plaster cast of the right track, noting the left track was angled and could not be cast. An investigator later visited the site, documented the stick fence around the spring and the cast dimensions, and noted additional sounds reported at the location.

While searching for shed moose antlers, the witness and a companion followed moose tracks past a clearing to a small runoff ditch. There they found a single very large five-toed human-like bare footprint with no claw marks, which they photographed with small objects for scale. They also noted multiple similarly broken trees angled to point along the game trail into dense woods.

The witness and his wife were hiking to Crabtree Falls in July 2016 when they left the main trail to follow a creek uphill through boulders. Near the top of a 25-30 foot cascade the witness saw a tall lanky hairy figure crouched above the water with its arm in the falls. After his wife screamed the creature stood, grunted, stared briefly, then crossed the creek in one step and climbed out of sight, after which the couple left and avoided hiking for months.
Camper has a possible afternoon sighting at USFS campground near the town of Strawberry
The witness was camping and sitting in shade at a developed campground when a fast-moving dark figure crossed the campground north to south about 125 yards away. The sighting lasted about three seconds and showed only the torso from the hips up, described as very thick and dark with a reddish tint, with little to no neck and a slight forward lean while running. The witness later inspected the path and reported crushed grass and a crushed fern along the suspected route toward thick timber.

The witness was walking along a rural road past a marsh at dawn when noises like birds rustling came from the reeds. A light-brown creature that had been crouched in the reeds stood up and ran uphill toward the woods, pushing brush aside with its arms. The witness observed it for less than a minute, noting great height, broad shoulders, a coconut-shaped head, and very fast movement.

Two people hiking about a mile from a trailhead found two very large human-like footprints with distinct toes in soft ground beside the trail. They could not match the prints with a phone track-identification app and thought they might be Bigfoot, taking photos. An investigator later revisited the location with them but the prints had washed away in heavy rain.

The witness was clearing a trail by a swamp when they heard two splashes from across the water without seeing the source. While on the phone, they saw a football-sized rock fly through the air about three-quarters of the way across the swamp and land in the water. He said he pursued to high ground and aimed through his rifle scope, but branches fell near him and loud movement approached from both sides, prompting him to retreat and later fire toward the hollow. A single track was reported in the creek bottom the next day, but erosion had removed detail.

The witness and her daughter's friend drove past a huge gray-skinned creature standing in a highway ditch with its back to the road. It stayed motionless in the headlights and appeared to be rummaging in trash. The next day the witness and her parents found large footprints with toes in mud and took photos showing a tree bend, an X, rock clacking sounds, and a possible face figure on the ridge.

In spring 2016 after returning home from an evening walk near his home, the witness looked back across an open field toward the woods and saw the back of a tall, broad, hair-covered upright creature standing still about 150 yards away. After a few seconds it moved quickly into the woods. He later estimated it was over seven feet tall with no visible neck and a peaked, caramel-colored head and back.
