The witness and a companion stopped while hiking and watched a reddish primate-like figure peeking from behind trees and brush about 100 feet away. The figure watched them for several minutes, moved away, then reappeared to peek briefly several more times over about 15 minutes. During the encounter they also heard movement in ravines on either side.
Brief but clear daylight sighting near Lake Tenkiller
The witness was helping clear land on a forested property when they left companions during a lunch break to explore a ravine and entered a cave containing a large nest of fabric and vegetation. After exiting the cave and moving a short distance away, they heard a huff and saw the head and upper body of a hair-covered creature watching from rocks above the cave. The witness fled uphill to rejoin the companions.

The witness found the remains of a shot and dumped hound at a town dump with soft tissue removed, chest ligaments stretched upward, skin peeled back, and no teeth marks on bones. A dark greasy foul-smelling spot lay inches away on hard ground. The witness inferred human-like hands were needed to open the chest and suspected a sasquatch was responsible.

Three hunters camped in a river bottom over the opening weekend of bow season. Over several days and nights they reported heavy impacts, rustling, a skunk-like odor, red eyeshine, wood knocks, whistles, talk-like mumbling, a whoop-ending vocalization, and bent trees and branch structures. The most intense moment was a predawn episode with a deep guttural roar followed by a scream-like sound near camp. They left early after smelling the odor again near a plum thicket.
