Twice they returned from hunting to find trees blocking or inside camp, including a large healthy green pine pushed over. After losing sleep they left for a family cabin and returned next morning to find the tent zipper partly open with the lantern still on.

The witness was driving west on Highway 60 after crossing the Brazos River around 2:45 a.m. when a large dark shape on the roadside rose to a standing position and stepped or leapt into the darkness. The view lasted about two seconds at highway speed, revealing a very tall, thick bipedal figure that appeared dark with no discernible features. The witness, who said they had not previously believed in such beings, reported being shaken and convinced by what they saw.

They then went to the spot and found a footprint in wet ground and flattened grass with a stride too wide for a relative to match.

The witness and a companion hiked far into virgin timber to fish a distant pond. After hearing movement and feeling intense cold and dread near a swamp, they camped amid unnatural silence. Both reported a shared lucid-dream-like experience of small pale beings that looked back and vanished, and the witness took photos thought to show something.

The witness was hiking a loop trail in a nature preserve in the afternoon. After hearing something large move away through the woods, the witness noticed a single large footprint on the hard trail surface and photographed it. The witness claims a tall creature stood up, growled, and trees fell as the group fled to their truck, then saw the creature walking in front of the gravel road watching them. The group later returned and reported finding tracks, broken trees and unusual intertwined structures.

While at the mother's house late at night, the witness twice heard soft muffled tapping on the dining-room picture window while dozing. She photographed the window without looking, saw eyeshine low down, then turned off the light and recorded video showing lights moving higher on the window.

The witness was lying in bed in an off-grid camper when surrounding animal sounds went silent. Over about an hour the witness heard a single knock, shed creaking as if pushed, rustling and footsteps on gravel, a possible growl and chewing, and a single whoop with no reply. Both continued up the hill on the far side and disappeared, and a next-day search found no tracks because of overnight heavy rain.

She found a straight line of large, fresh footprints in snow from the previous day and followed it off-trail for about a quarter mile, noting toe and heel details in some prints. Construction workers found a long line of large tracks in snow after an overnight storm. The investigator followed the trackway about a mile and a half through orchards, fields and a ravine. The steps were 4 to 6 feet apart in a straight line with no animal marks inside, and one clear dirt impression was cast before the trail was lost in a worked orchard.
