A family camping at an abandoned mining camp near a military range boundary was told by military personnel to leave due to an escaped convict, but the personnel left for another call. Shortly after, the father was attacked from behind while the mother drove away with the children after hearing screaming and seeing a monster-like pursuer. The father died, his body was recovered inside the range, and years later the son learned from a supervisor that an escaped non-human entity had killed him.

Two large human-like footprints were found in mud where a wide trail of broken vegetation came down a hill to the road. A family driving across Nevada early in the morning encountered a strange object that approached their station wagon and flew above the road. After a tire blowout, mist, humming and slowed perception, they stopped and hid in brush where a saucer landed and three floating beings took the two children aboard. The parents sought help at a military gate while the children were found the next morning on the test range and later described examinations, pills, a calming ribbon and a map.

While wading and fishing with two relatives in summer 1980, the witness reported a strong rotten odor followed by sighting of a tall hairy figure standing in brush on the creek bank. The figure, visible from the waist up, turned its head to look at the group, after which all three left the creek and walked to their car. The father reportedly identified it aloud as Bigfoot.

After hearing about a reported sighting, the witness went with a companion the next morning to the described location to look for footprints. They found large footprints crossing a sandy road from a clear-cut area into a swamp, noted a long stride, depth, and disturbed tree blossoms, and made plaster casts. No creature was seen during this visit.

In the summer of 1979 the witness and a companion had pulled off the road east of Seneca when they heard a loud shrieking growl. A large human-like animal approached their vehicle in bounding steps. The witness shouted for the companion to get in, locked the doors, and fled at high speed, remaining frightened and avoiding that road afterward.

The witness reports finding dozens of large five-toed footprints in wet, packed sand. Most were roughly boot-length but wider and over an inch deep, with a second deformed variant and a larger unclear print leading toward a cliff. After noticing droppings in the road, they found a trail of large bare human-like footprints with five toes leading up a bank. While backpacking alone in a remote area of Nepal, the witness watched from a hilltop as a large brownish bipedal creature emerged from brush and crossed a glacier below over several minutes before entering brush on the far side. The witness took a photo that came out overexposed and showed only an unclear dark shape. The witness did not descend to the glacier due to breathing difficulty and dense terrain.

The witness and a relative were fishing and camping in a narrow willow canyon at dusk and noticed unusual silence and a feeling of being watched. While sitting by a fire, the companion stared toward the road and the witness then saw a tall dark hairy face peering through willows about 30-40 feet away. The figure then crashed through the creek and willows up the hillside out of sight, after which the pair left hastily.

Five people fishing in a remote creek area found about half a dozen very large footprints that appeared to be about a week old. The tracks ran from the creek across sandy soil toward rocky brush and were described as about 17 inches long and 10 inches wide. Casts were later made from the tracks and the find was reported in newspapers.

The witness was camped beside a creek during a Pacific Crest Trail thru-hike when he heard low voice-like sounds coming from opposite ridges. Feeling uneasy as he also heard limbs and sticks breaking on the ridgeline, he broke camp and hiked out by moonlight. The next morning at a side creek he found vegetation slid down and up where something had crossed, with one large clear footprint in a sandbar, which he photographed with his foot alongside for scale.
