Family reports strange ongoing activity near Greenville
While driving on a road that follows a river on a hot day, the witness noticed a large cinnamon-colored animal standing on all fours in the shallow water at a distance. He could not see its head because of distance and overhanging branches. He first thought it was a bear but noted the fur looked unusually long and shaggy, obscuring where legs met body. He did not stop for a closer look and judged it at least as large as local bears he had seen.

A couple nights later the guest returned with his mother carrying thermal and night vision. They saw figures popping up behind a boulder and tree, felt dread, and left after something struck the car. The next day she found a freshly twisted sapling where they had parked.
