The witness stopped with his spouse near a lake to point out a former fishing area. He noticed a large dark bipedal figure moving very quickly at a distance toward denser woods, visible for only a few seconds before it entered the treeline. The pair left the area quickly afterward.

Late at night the daughter got up to watch deer eating corn by the door and saw a black tailless animal about the size of a Boston Terrier sniffing the ground that waddled off on four legs. A later distant game photo showed several similar small black shapes on and around a picnic table plus a very large shape sitting at the porch edge facing the window.
