The witness saw a fast dark figure cross the wide trail behind a deer, then later stood feet away from a tall black fur-covered figure with long arms that disappeared instantly. The partner did not see the figure but saw a branch fall, heard snapping, and they found and photographed footprints.

Near the top of a hill, a tall dark figure with swinging arms crossed the road in a few fast steps in front of their vehicle and disappeared over the hill. The witness left with the dogs and later reported finding a partial footprint.

The witness claims a tall creature stood up, growled, and trees fell as the group fled to their truck, then saw the creature walking in front of the gravel road watching them. He said he pursued to high ground and aimed through his rifle scope, but branches fell near him and loud movement approached from both sides, prompting him to retreat and later fire toward the hollow. A single track was reported in the creek bottom the next day, but erosion had removed detail.

After putting the car in gear she saw a large dark bipedal figure leap from a hillside across the road into a ravine in under ten seconds. She drove to the crossing point but saw nothing further and later noted the fence there was bent.

Late at night three companions pulled over by an overgrown archery field to look for deer and noticed green eyeshine wide apart just above tall grass. The source of the eyes stood upright to a great height, looked toward them, then walked into the adjoining woods. After leaving, they returned for a size comparison with a 6-foot companion walking toward the treeline while the others watched from the truck; the figure reappeared, stood up and towered over the companion before leaving into the woods again.

The witness was walking a puppy along a bikeway when the dog began barking. Ahead, the witness saw a very large dark hairy biped walking along the path shoulder for several seconds before it crossed the path and descended into a wooded gully. The witness left and returned about an hour later with another dog and found and photographed a large footprint where the creature had walked.

The witness had parked at the road to collect firewood and was returning to the truck when a large hairy bipedal creature crossed the road about 30 yards away and entered the woods. The witness drove to the crossing point and saw yellow eye reflection looking back from the woods before it disappeared and the witness left. An investigator later visited the site with the witness and documented the road and surroundings.

Early one summer morning the witness looked out a home window before work and noticed a very large black figure moving through crab-apple trees and brush behind the house. A second, smaller black figure then moved through the same area, shaking vegetation as it ran. The larger figure stopped in thick brush and stared toward the witness at the window for less than a minute before looking toward the dog kennel and walking uphill out of sight. Fruit the witness had discarded in the yard the night before was gone the next day.

Late in the evening the witness drove around the apartment complex and saw a dark figure standing at the edge of the woods by the trash bins. The figure looked at the witness and then moved slowly back into the woods. The next morning footprints were found near the dumpster in snow, leading the witness to conclude the figure was not a bear.

As a teenager at home at night, the witness heard a cry and loud noise outside her bedroom window and fetched her father. Her father went outside with a flashlight and reported seeing a huge hairy bipedal figure running away. The next morning the family found a steel downspout twisted around and folded in half.

The witness was in a tree stand when he heard higher-pitched chatter and movement approaching, followed by a grunt, silence, and sounds of two things running downhill. Using his crossbow scope he saw a dark-skinned hand on an oak and then a face peering at him, later stepping into a shooting lane. After he lowered his bow the female left downhill where a loud pop and crashing was heard, and a healthy snapped tree was photographed the next morning.
