A large coworker found a footprint crossing a muddy trail in the Molalla area on Nov 5 2017, got the creeps, heard screams on trips and once found a ripped-apart deer that felt wrong. A week later the guest and his uncle found a trackway over fresh sawdust in the same area with boot comparison, measuring about thirteen inches like the coworker's.

During an elk-hunting camp stay, the witness slept alone in a tent near a trailer. On the night of Oct 20 after lights were out, something large came into camp making knocking and pounding sounds, handling food paper, walking bipedally and breaking sticks, and giving off a strong rotten-egg odor. The witness aimed a rifle but did not shoot, then retreated to the trailer where a relative also smelled the odor and both saw a third set of eyes near the mules. In the morning they found footprints, hairs, and a small twisted-off tree and photographed some traces.

Four people were camping at Indian Lake while hunting elk. At night around the campfire they heard loud screams coming from across the lake. Two members of the group went to the bank and saw a large dark figure pacing behind a small tree and screaming toward camp before disappearing into the trees, then reappearing to scream again.

A group camping with horses heard wood knocks by the campfire, then after midnight was awakened by agitated horses, sounds of the horse corral being moved and loud banging on a camper. One person reported a musky odor and sounds of branches breaking as something moved up the mountainside. The next morning the group found large human-like tracks around the camper and campsite, which they photographed and cast.

The witness was bow hunting in coastal second-growth forest on the morning of September 1, 2001. After spooking a doe that abruptly reversed direction, the witness heard whooping and screaming sounds followed by a large tree falling, plus heavy bipedal footsteps. The witness found large ground impressions, snapped limbs and treetops, hair high on a tree, and very large foul-smelling scat, and documented damaged trees with photos and attempted casts.

While camping with family, the witness and a sibling were coloring outside when they saw two bipedal figures, one larger and one smaller, dart behind trees. The witness fled to the car and then saw one figure crouching in bushes staring toward the mother. After a young sibling retrieved a BB gun, the figure turned and ran into the woods on two feet.

While with a group near a campfire late at night, the witness walked to a rise and saw a bright flash repeating every couple minutes from the side of a large pine. The witness photographed the flash which others called a portal. Afterwards two figures were heard whooping in the nearby creek with tree knocks.

While camped with about ten others, the guest was ill with a heart rhythm problem and had noted large footprints by camp. Just before daylight he awoke to a buzzing sensation from his chest that left a burn mark and, he says, restored his heart rhythm. His tent companion awoke and heard the sound and looked outside. He attributes the healing to unseen forest visitors.

The witness was driving over the hill toward home and backed her SUV into a previously used camp spot to rest. Her two dogs barked uncontrollably at the rear and she felt brief resistance like being hung up, then left feeling uneasy. Two days later while cleaning the vehicle she found a large cakey handprint on the rear that did not wash off easily.

A group of five hunters was driving elk down a ravine when they noticed a large bull elk in a struggle. From several hundred yards away in the early afternoon they watched through binoculars and scopes an extended fight between the bull and a large hairy creature. The creature was wounded in the side by the elk but eventually brought the elk down, tore off portions, and left carrying meat while holding its wound. The hunters later retrieved the remaining elk carcass.

The witness parked and walked a gravel road near the creek but turned back due to a strong oppressive negative feeling. She photographed the woods and later thought she saw glowing eyes when filtering the image. Companions on later visits also reported a bad feeling, and on one return the feeling was gone.

She left cedar and other plant offerings that were taken within minutes amid loud excited sounds. On several nights the juvenile approached closely with heavy footsteps, branch snapping and gentle mouth sounds, sometimes heard by a friend. She also reported being healed and seeing a red-coated figure glide through the woods near her home and later at a high prairie campsite.
