Vacationing family observes & photographs a large hair covered figure in Grayson Highlands State Park
A group of ten vacationers at a scenic overlook noticed a large dark figure about 200 yards below them. The figure was initially crouched and appeared to dig or pull at something, then stood, walked to a tree, observed the group, and eventually moved deeper into the forest out of view over about five minutes. Photos were taken by the group, while two unrelated visitors who also photographed it left quickly appearing scared.
Possible roadside sighting at night by a family outside Nokesville
After picking up a relative at the airport, the witness became lost while driving at night with her two children on unmarked rural roads. While traveling slowly near a church, she and the children noticed a large brown furry figure crouched by the roadside ditch with its back to the road. They did not stop and continued home. The witness first assumed it was a bear but later questioned that after learning brown bears are not found in the state.
Growl near Lee County
The guest and one fellow investigator camped in a research area in Lee County chosen after a Dogman report. They heard a growl, a distant tree fall, and something running around camp that was too fast to pinpoint on thermal, then found X-shaped tree structures without roots. On later visits team members saw a large dark humanoid with a conical head peek from behind a tree, found broken branches, and heard loud peacock-like bird sounds with nothing visible.
Property disturbance in Virginia
A woman and her husband reported brutal unseen attacks with scratches in sets of three, beatings and being thrown. The investigator documented photo and video evidence, consulted a religious demonologist and priest, and performed a permitted deliverance prayer. The environment calmed and no further attacks were reported for over ten years.
