Late one spring night in 1979, the witness and a sibling were in bed in a downstairs bedroom when they saw a tall hairy figure looking in the window and then at the back door apparently trying to get inside. The witness got out with a flashlight thinking friends were pranking him and came face to face with a huge wolf-headed creature that growled. He scrambled back into the car and fled, later finding a dent, and both occupants remained frightened for months.

A family living in a rural wood-frame home reported repeated nighttime visits over several years by two large hair-covered bipeds, one larger and one smaller. The creatures were said to peer in windows, mimic an infant's sounds, produce a strong septic odor, throw heavy tanks, damage a vehicle, and leave hair on the house. Livestock on surrounding farms were found dead with intestines removed. After the father fired through a wall at one creature, only the smaller one was reportedly seen, and activity lessened after relatives guarded the house and a protective ritual was performed.

The witness and two companions were on horseback to put up horses at night near a town dump and fairgrounds. They observed a black standing figure but could not see a face despite fairly good visibility from stars and lights. The next day they returned and found dry grass flattened where the figure had stood. The witness noted bears frequent the area but judged this was not a bear.

Across the bed the witness saw a large light-brown hair-covered ape-like creature in a crouched position that moved quietly into bushes and out of view. The witness ran back to camp and returned with a relative, who noted a deep depression at the spot but no further sign of the animal.

The witness was staying with relatives in a secluded hollow and watching television late at night when a pony in a nearby corral became agitated. The witness and a cousin went outside and saw a very tall, broad creature moving away from the corral, stepping over a fence and fleeing across a road and creek up a hillside, seeing only its back. The next morning they found only a dirt slide where it had climbed, and learned a relative's chained dog nearby had disappeared that night.

They retreated to a bedroom without curtains where they heard breathing and scratching and saw a hairy hand against the window screen. The companion fired two shots that missed, and the figure ran away. A sheriff who responded found bullet holes but no blood or footprints.

Four people were coon hunting with hounds on a full-moon night in late fall and were walking out toward the truck when the dogs bolted. The witness, left alone in standing corn, heard a loud scream approaching and was knocked down by a bent-over thing carrying a deer on its shoulder, which dropped the deer and fled. The group found the deer alive but severely injured with a twisted hind leg and broken antlers; a responding game warden shot it and released it to them, and dressing showed a dislocated hip, broken backbone and badly bruised meat.

On a clear cold night in fall 1971, a group of students gathered at a party spot on Green Hill Road claimed a large hairy creature grabbed one member who had stepped into the woods. Forestry and law-enforcement visitors reportedly told the father to stop shooting, and timber workers and well drillers also encountered the animals.

The witness and a companion camped near a lake after the rest of their party failed to arrive. After hearing scream-like sounds earlier in the evening, the witness lay awake and watched a tall figure move behind a windbreak, squat to rummage through a pack, then stand and walk away. The witness woke the companion, who did not see the figure but both heard movement in the trees. In the morning the pack contents were scattered and only cookies were missing from their package.

The witness and a companion were walking a dirt trail by a canal to find a bass spot while looking down to avoid snakes. They saw large brown legs cross the trail ahead and noticed branches rustling in a nearby group of trees, which the witness attributed to a sasquatch watching them. Scared, they backed away slowly and left the area.

After shouting a challenge he heard a loud crashing bluff, later finding snapped sticks. On the walk out they heard escorts, saw smooth-moving figures on a ridge, and saw a basketball-sized light crash with nothing found.

She went to the porch with a gun and flashlight, saw a figure run behind a parked semi, then saw clawed hands gripping it as it peered around. It growled deeply, she froze, then dragged the injured dog inside.

She later asked the witness family for help. A chained bear trap set on a concreted post was later ripped out of the ground and reported to police.

The witness's female coworker said she and her boyfriend were lying in the back of their Jeep by the water waiting for fish when raccoons were rustling nearby. She got up to check and saw a tall figure staring at her over the top of the vehicle, which then ran away extremely fast and loudly. The next morning they found an area of matted reeds with a freshly stripped catfish skeleton and entrails nearby.
