At night the witness used a high-powered spotlight from an ATV at the edge of woods on the property to illuminate an upright figure about 40 yards away. The animal was described as about eight feet tall, very wide and very dark-haired, with the face not visible. After being lit, it walked further back into the timber out of sight.

The witness stopped his ATV on a forest trail to wait for a slower companion. Small rocks began striking the vehicle, and he saw a tall dark hair-covered figure about 70-90 feet away rise from a low position to standing. He watched it briefly as it stood bipedally and then stepped backward into dense woods, after which he left quickly feeling fear and nausea.

After rejoining his companion about a half-mile away, they found and examined an unusually large scat pile containing berries and grass.

On the third day they were spread out traversing a steep slope when the witness stopped to rest and heard movement in thick brush below. It glanced toward a second noise downhill, then left as the friends approached calling out, leaving the witness injured and shaken.

A tall brown-haired female came from the woods, picked up the juvenile and carried it back into the trees. After the witness got out of his car a rock struck the car and a much larger dark individual appeared behind the car, vocalized loudly, then crossed the road into the woods. The witness drove a short distance ahead, stopped, heard movement in the woods and had more small rocks thrown toward him before leaving.

The witness was riding as a passenger with a relative driving home when they first noticed a large crouched figure by the roadside. After turning around and losing sight of it, they saw a tall, dark reddish-brown shaggy upright figure cross the road ahead of them in two steps. The figure moved quickly, did not look at the cars, and disappeared into roadside bushes, after which the witnesses left the area.

It faced them briefly, then ran bipedally a few steps and scrambled on all fours up an embankment behind it. When they looked back after passing, it was gone.
