The two hikers set up a thermal camera on a tripod in a field to watch for deer and bear at night. They observed a large upright creature crossing a road on thermal, approaching to about 90 feet, then fleeing into a thicket where facial details were seen. Later they heard a howl, whoops from multiple directions and grunting near the truck, then felt an impact while driving out that left a dent from a thrown rock.

The guest recalls a night when several armed men waited on the farmhouse roof. After hours they heard a dog yelp, saw eyeshine and heard a bone chilling growl, then fired dozens of shots with deer slugs. Men fell off the roof and the ladder was kicked, and next day a gutted dog carcass with no blood was found where the creature had been.

While stopped by an abandoned quarry lake, the guest heard a branch snap and baby-like crying. He walked over and found a small hairy juvenile stuck upside down by its leg in a tree. Two larger hairy females then appeared, one growled and yelled, and he fled back to his motorcycle where he later found three shiny rocks on the gas tank.
