Sasquatch sighting (1925)
Russian troops surrounding a cave where rebels were believed to hide threw a rock inside, which was thrown back out. After a shot was fired into the cave, a Neanderthal-like being emerged and was shot dead and buried. A surviving troop member later led others to the burial, where a pinky bone identified as Neanderthal was recovered.
