A family of four driving through Geneva State Park in daylight stopped after noticing a large dark bipedal figure moving through snowy woods. The figure was watched briefly for about ten seconds before disappearing. Shortly after from a nearby parking lot the adults made whoop calls and heard replies described as whoops, a scream or growl, and wood knocks, while also noticing a strong unpleasant odor.

On November 2, 2013 around 4:45 p.m., the wife was closing the barn doors when she noticed movement downhill. She observed a tall hair-covered creature standing about 110 feet away facing her, which then turned and bounded down the steep slope out of sight. Two companions were driving at night in a doorless vehicle when they made a wrong turn onto a dead-end road. As they turned around, the passenger alerted the driver to eyeshine behind a large tree caught in the headlights. The driver then saw large eyes about six feet off the ground and a large brown shape behind the tree. Both were frightened and did not get a prolonged look.

While walking a ridge the witness noticed bent saplings and knocked on a tree, receiving clear wood-knock replies from a steep kettle below. A large living oak branch was then twisted toward the witness and ripped off, falling to the kettle bottom. Returning later with two companions, they found fresh twist damage and hand-like bark rubs with strong odor, then a young companion saw a light-colored bipedal figure and all heard a deep growl.

Two women on an evening hike heard a loud branch break and saw a large bipedal figure running parallel to them through the forest and down a hill. They watched it for several seconds as it moved very fast with long strides and a forward lean, making no running noise despite dry ground cover. Both described it as tall, bulky and covered in dark grey to black hair, concluding it matched a bigfoot and was not a human or common animal.

On Labor Day weekend 2010 at a family farm, the witness and companions shone a high-powered spotlight on a creature standing chest-deep in a pond about 30-40 yards away. They watched it move, pick objects from the water and chew on them until the light died. Immediately after, they heard a splash, movement through woods, and repeated series of booms followed by loud bellowing that seemed to answer from another part of the property.
