The witness was driving west on a gravel road in the afternoon when a brownish-red creature crossed the road south to north a short distance ahead. The witness estimated it at 6-7 feet tall and over 300 pounds, moving very fast in a few steps with arms pumping and a hunched posture. The witness stopped at the crossing point but noted no odor and found no tracks due to hard ground.

The witness was driving home late at night when a large manlike entity crossed the two-lane road in front of the vehicle in a few fast, smooth steps and disappeared into trees on the far side. The witness stopped, noting no other vehicles or people around, and heard it crashing through brush. The witnesses saw it from the neck down, describing a bulky build, dark coloration, a swinging left arm, and crossing the road in about two and a half steps. After midnight while driving west toward Elbe, the witness saw a large hairy figure cross the highway ahead and enter fir trees. As the car closed the distance, the figure stepped onto the grass and pushed a fir bough from its face, showing a gorilla-like ear. The witness braked and turned toward the trees but the car stalled and the adult passenger became upset, so the witness left and returned the next day to look for sign.

Two coworkers driving to work encountered an upright wolf-like creature standing beside the road. It watched them as they nearly stopped beside it, then crossed behind them and ran up a steep bank. The witness later visited the site and found tracks showing it scaled a high dirt bank in two leaps.

Around 3 a.m. on a cold clear night during Christmas season, the witness got up for a drink and looked out the back-door window toward a lit road. He watched a tall, hairy, upright figure with long arms climb a steep bank, grip a bridge rail, cross the two-lane road in one stride, and disappear down the opposite bank. A family camping at Sunrise Beach heard branch-breaking sounds overnight and the next morning found a very large footprint in a dried creek bed. Shortly after, they saw a large brownish hair-covered creature watching them from behind a tree on a hillside, which then walked away toward the campground road. The father also reported seeing it cross the road ahead while lifting a wire out of its way, and the family quickly left the area.

While living in a rural rental house, the witness realized Sasquatch-like creatures were coming around trying to get his puppies. Driving home at night, his headlights caught an alpha male and another in the road in front of the house. Later tracks were found in front of the bay window with very long strides, and leap measurements showed about sixty feet covered in three jumps.

Driving home at night after a Fourth of July visit, the witness first saw a tall figure cross the highway and then pass within 8 to 12 feet as it pushed a branch aside under a vapor light. He braked hard, stalled, and left without approaching. Next day he and his sister-in-law measured the branch at 10 feet at the jaw and followed heel-drag scuffs and heel prints toward dark timber.

After moving to northeast Mississippi, the witness turned into his driveway and caught an eight-foot Neanderthal-type male in his headlights. The creature left the road, ran down a bank, jumped a creek and entered the woods. The witness later measured three successive leaps of 15, 21 and 23 feet.

A research group camped at a remote river location and stayed up late around a fire to invite attention. On about the fifth night whistling calls, heavy movement through brush, and a loud branch break approached camp. The witness watched through a night-vision monocular as a large silhouette crossed a road with a smooth gliding gait, and the group later found disturbed ground and footprints that were tracked for about a mile.
