Sasquatch sighting in Oregon (2024)
While traveling before a conference, three companions stopped to walk up a gated bike trail in the Mount Hood area after hearing tree knocks. One companion spotted an upright creature by a tree about sixty yards off the trail and made eye contact, then a second guest saw it dart quickly through dense vegetation for two to three seconds. A follow-up visit days later with researchers found multiple large footprints, handprints, and a trackway showing it ran about sixty yards, stopped, and watched.

The guest drove her Jeep with her three children at night into a normally gated road in the Silver Falls Wilderness. She saw multiple upright shadows crossing the road that grew larger and closer, heard murmuring and a howling shout, and saw trees moving. After turning around, a large figure charged down the hillside and struck the Jeep, pushing a tire over a cliff edge, and she fled. She later found a huge hand-shaped dent in the Jeep.
Campers hear growl, trailer is rocked, tracks found
The witness and a companion pulled into a remote timber campsite after dark to set up a trailer. They heard a growl from the darkness and later something rocked the trailer and touched a door handle while they were inside. The next morning they found tracks, a trail through camp, and a handprint on the trailer window. Scared and without taking photos, they avoided going outside at night until leaving after three days.
Creature circles camp, reflective eyes seen
The witnesses were camped overnight when a very large presence circled the camp from dusk through the night, with reflecting eyes seen about seven to eight feet off the ground. Around 2:30 a.m. after they went quiet to listen, it charged to within about five feet and then ran off before they could see it. In the morning they reported footprints in wet grass twice the witness's size and a large smeared handprint on the truck.

The witness and a companion went into the forest with a camera to film a Sasquatch documentary. While walking and searching along a river they reported finding tracks, odors, broken vegetation, stick nests, and a smashed-tree circle with plant material. The witness claimed a creature watched from up the river, stared briefly then left, later noticing a second figure behind it on video. They also described a small cave containing misplaced vegetation, hand and foot tracks, and a foul odor before running out of film and leaving.

The witness stayed alone overnight in an unfinished cabin he had helped build for a friend's project. During the night he was awakened by an approaching barking dog and heavy vibrations shaking the structure, followed by dragging sounds along the wall and breathing at the open sliding door. By morning he found a large oily handprint on the glass and discovered the dog hiding beneath the cabin. He interpreted the events as a Sasquatch passing through the site in pursuit of or pursued by the dog.
Strange happenings on the way to Bohemia Mt.
Friends of the reporter were driving past a cave toward Bohemia Mines on a winter night when all power functions in their car allegedly went out and the car slid toward the mountain as if pushed from the rear. Power reportedly returned about 50 feet beyond the site, and they turned around and drove back to Cottage Grove without further incident. After parking, they discovered two giant muddy hand prints on the rear of the car.

The witness and two companions were camping at Skookum Lake when the witness heard branches breaking in the early morning hours. He shone a powerful flashlight toward the sound and saw a creature about 150 feet away on a slope. He watched it for about 45 minutes and called for his companions to come look.

Six occupants were inside a trailer at night when it began rocking on its foundation amid loud footsteps and strange breathing and rumbling sounds. Two occupants looking out a window saw only a dense mass of long glossy hair filling the view about six to seven feet off the ground. The group screamed loudly until the rocking and noises stopped. In the morning they found large handprints with thumbs in dust on the trailer roof but no tracks on the hard needle-covered ground.

After a motion light came on beside the fenced yard, the witness looked down from upstairs and saw a very tall dark figure pressed against the house peering into a downstairs window. When the witness whistled the figure fled with great power over a chain-link fence. Next morning a large handprint, torn window screen with finger holes, and a face impression with nasal discharge were found about eight and a half feet high and sampled for DNA.

A couple months before recording, the witness and a friend drove through Horse Creek and stopped for indentations beside the road. He found large 15- to 16-inch foot-like impressions, a large hand impression used for leverage, and smaller 7-inch tracks leading to a steep point. He judged the depth and firm ground meant great weight and later concluded they were Sasquatch tracks.

With snow on the ground the witness took her son to the area where she had earlier recorded thermal figures. Across the road she found very large human-like footprints in snow alongside wolf-like prints. Near the logging-road gate she found a large handprint and compared it to her own hand, noting much longer fingers. She became frightened and ran.

Over the residency the witness reports objects appearing after shop conversations, including a mossy toy on the knee casts, rhythmic drumming on barrels with growls, an old baseball embedded in gravel, an old arrow, finger swipes and a ripped cargo net in a truck bed with large dermal ridges, dead phones, a discarded slide phone in a boat, and an antique Christmas bulb in the boat.

While stopped by a large down tree across the path, the witness saw a distant figure standing in the middle of a clear alleyway through the trees, with shoulders, head and arms down. The companion agreed it looked like a bigfoot. On a later visit from the same spot there was no opening at all, only solid trees, and a handprint was noted in moss by the log.
