On July 16, 1997, a tour guide driving tourists along a road stopped near a burned-out bridge and watched an upright, hair-covered creature for about 15 minutes from 70 to 80 yards away. The guide moved the bus forward and backward to give passengers views and tried to get a passenger with a telephoto lens to exit for photos, but no one would leave. The guide then drove away and could not relocate the creature on a later return.
Man fires shots at an unidentified man or animal near his back porch. Later he finds frozen meat littered about his back yard
The witness was home watching a baseball game when a strange noise from the back porch prompted investigation with a pistol. The witness reported seeing a large dark upright shadow-like figure running toward the woods, firing shots, then seeing it again near an old stable and firing again without hitting it. Afterwards the witness found a porch freezer broken into with frozen food scattered, plus white hairs and ground impressions.

A group gathered on a front porch at night heard noises near an old chicken coop and saw two pairs of yellow eyes that appeared to be two feline-like animals in the headlights. A large hairy biped then stepped in front of the animals and lurched toward a car, prompting the group to flee inside and call deputies. The biped later stood outside a lit kitchen window for several minutes while occupants held firearms but did not shoot, then left before deputies arrived, leaving a strong odor.

A herb gatherer on a mountain encountered a female hairy humanoid that tried to grab him. He grabbed its hair and struck its arm with a machete, causing it to flee into the forest while making wah-wah sounds. He was left holding strands of its hair.
Tracks
The guest received an email from a woman whose husband had been missing for about a week after going camping to look for Sasquatch. With a friend he found the man's truck with doors open and windshield and hood caved in, a destroyed campsite with scattered food and gear, and varied large footprints. Following a heavy blood smear they recovered an empty rifle and sidearm and found body parts spread over many miles, including a torso with wide claw-like gashes, before authorities arrived and news reports blamed wolves.
Tracks
A property with years of activity yielded 14-inch hair snagged on an interior pasture fence four feet high where no horses were kept. Other signs included snow tracks, screams from the woods, pounding on the house, and creatures bedding in the barn that frightened cattle.
