Screaming and eyeshine witnessed by hunter in the Big Hole Mountains
The witness was riding horseback at night near a creek confluence when a loud raspy scream was heard repeatedly from about 40 yards away in the creek. A second animal to the east answered with a loud whistle and rapid grunts. After turning on lights the witness saw eyeshine from the creek, lost it, then later saw two pairs of eyes on the far bank that turned and moved away.

Two witnesses discover and document a large three-toed track
While hunting bears in timber country, the witness and a relative entered a clear-cut and noticed a large footprint in mud on a slope above a logging road. The impression was described as human-like with three toes and measuring about 14 by 7 inches. The witness later returned to create a plaster cast that was videotaped and photographed.
