Two men cutting firewood reportedly saw a white 7-foot-tall creature step to the edge of a logging road about 25 feet away, then turn and walk back into the forest with a pronounced limp. A woman watching from a truck about 300 feet away also saw it and alerted her husband, who arrived too late to see it. The husband later found and followed footprints in forest duff and made plaster casts of both feet, noting deformity of the right foot.

The witness reported finding about a hundred large tracks going both uphill and downhill near a river while deer hunting in October 1996. The tracks were interpreted as representing six individuals present over about six weeks. Casts were made of some of the tracks.
Skookum Lake Campers see large black BF with glowing yellow eyes
The witness and two companions were camping at Skookum Lake when the witness heard branches breaking in the early morning hours. He shone a powerful flashlight toward the sound and saw a creature about 150 feet away on a slope. He watched it for about 45 minutes and called for his companions to come look.
