After waiting, he continued on an overgrown trail and heard something pacing him about 15 feet away though nothing was visible. The woods went silent, then something close by laughed like a hyena, and it followed him until near the mountaintop.

On Christmas night 2021, the letter writer's mother and [name withheld] heard something creeping outside an open bedroom window. It growled and made speech-like sounds. The witness attempted a phone audio recording but it did not capture the sounds clearly.

The witness was cleaning and preparing an auction site in the mountains when large barefoot tracks were found that dwarfed the witness's own foot. A few days later around midday a massive dark bipedal figure was seen leaning from behind a tree, was photographed, then left with heavy steps and a foul smell as the phone camera failed. That evening and the next night loud echoing vocalizations and loud bird-like whistles were heard while deer disappeared and the woods went silent.

About a month before the show he heard a double chest-thump sound while exiting.

The witness and a companion walked night trails and noticed a stationary bright light over a ridge. They then heard bipedal footsteps from an embankment, felt watched, and smelled a skunk-like odor. While leaving across the bridge they heard prolonged crying/calling vocalizations that continued to the trailhead. The witness later concluded the sounds matched Bigfoot recordings found online.

The witness reported being awakened at home by loud vocalizations and sounds of objects hitting the house, with farm and domestic animals reacting. He went outside armed to check the chicken pen and reported seeing a man-like bipedal figure taking chickens and retreating toward the woods. He said he pursued to high ground and aimed through his rifle scope, but branches fell near him and loud movement approached from both sides, prompting him to retreat and later fire toward the hollow. A single track was reported in the creek bottom the next day, but erosion had removed detail.

Overnight at the camp the party heard footsteps moving in thick brush around the campsite just out of sight of the fire. On later playback something intelligent seemed to tinker with jingle bells strung on fishing line around the perimeter. The witness felt uneasy, watched, and unwilling to leave camp.

The witness and two companions camped in the Mt Hood National Forest with a barrel of animal entrails intended as bait. Over three days they reported loud screams from a nearby ridge, nighttime wood knocks, heavy steps and snapping twigs, and found their camp table apparently bitten through. They moved the bait pile away from camp, later found most of it missing with a wet sweet dog-like odor at the site.

The guest and his wife joined other researchers for an overnight investigation of a private property where the owner reported pounding and odd signs. After finding large footprints and noticing fresh fallen trees and a strong odor during an ATV ride, the group heard bipedal steps near base camp late at night. The guest watched a large upright figure sway between trees through night vision, saw it reappear squatting, then lose it as it moved over a ridge. The next morning the team found trampled vegetation where the figure had stood and noted they had audio of the event.

On a November afternoon hunt, the witness heard loud yelling mixed with growls and screams nearby and recorded trees breaking and heavy pounding footsteps approaching. They stopped and watched a very tall, light-colored illuminated figure moving in a small circle near a mailbox, heard a short powerful grunt, and then saw reddish eyes watching from the woods. The eyes retreated deeper, dropped low and disappeared while the group returned to the cottage.

Late at night the witness and a relative went outside to check a heavy thud behind the house. They saw a deer run past, then a very tall hair-covered human-like figure approach from the woods. After a shotgun shot was fired toward the treeline, the figure veered closer, stopped nearby, then moved along the treeline into the woods where it remained visible for several minutes. A strong odor was noticed and large footprints were found the next day.

The witness and two companions hiked into rugged forest to camp overnight for turkey hunting. Late at night they heard a prolonged unfamiliar howl, and a few hours later heard slow heavy footsteps approach within feet of their tent before withdrawing when spoken to. The next morning they found a large scat pile uphill and then left the area.

The witness was camping with two friends and walked alone to sit by a creek circling the camp. Across the creek he heard movement, then turned on a flashlight and saw a large hairy creature that fled into brush, shaking trees. After retreating about 30 yards it emitted a loud growling snarl, and the witness ran back to camp in panic.

The next night near dumpsters by the river, the group heard angry gorilla-like grunting and recorded the last 30 seconds as the East Central Ohio Bigfoot Chatter. The guest listened with a bionic ear as a bipedal creature climbed a steep bank and watched from behind a tree for about 20 minutes with faint reddish-orange eyeshine.

After exchanging wood knocks with an unseen source to the south, the witness heard slow cautious bipedal footsteps approach and a loud splash in the channel separating the islands, followed later by fainter steps retreating. In 2006 the guest staged an empty-looking campsite and hid inside his blanket-covered truck with a parabolic microphone. He heard footsteps approaching from about 10pm, watched two Bigfoots enter the camp with one dragging a stick and tapping lantern posts, then striking a tree hard. He heard splashing as the second crossed the creek, and the encounter culminated with something jumping on the back of his truck.
