Hunter sees bigfoot cross road behind him west of Nile, WA
The witness was driving on a gravel road looking for a bow-season campsite in late morning. Glancing in the rearview mirror, the witness saw a very tall, broad, dark upright creature standing in the middle of the road behind the vehicle. After stopping, the witness watched it pivot, take a step to the side of the road, and disappear down a steep rocky slope. No definite footprints were found in the gravel where it had stood.

The witness was driving north of Glewood after a river trip in the early evening when a large grey-white creature crossed the road from north to south. Investigators later recreated the scene with the witness to estimate the creature's height, stride, and appearance.

The witness and a relative were driving west on Highway 12 late at night toward Packwood. About 100 yards ahead a tall hair-covered figure crossed the road from right to left on two legs in a few long steps and disappeared. The witness slowed but saw nothing else follow.
