The witness and his son deer-hunted from a blind on an island-like swamp parcel and saw nothing unusual that morning. While stopped in a clearing on the ATV ride out to secure a rifle, they heard a very deep gorilla-like sound repeated several times that frightened them both. They fled quickly on the ATV and saw only pine tops moving away from them.
