The witness and five companions drove to an abandoned oilfield road at night to hang out and walked into the surrounding woods with flashlights. Two companions in front flushed something that had been lying on the ground and chased it through thick brush and across a creek, describing it as a man-sized black shape. After regrouping at their trucks, the group heard loud banging on the truck beds with no one visible, became frightened, and left the area.

As a young teen hunting alone with a trained dog, the witness sat against a tree in the dark listening to the dog. He heard something circling him, then a large tree top shook violently without wing sounds. He shouted, fired his rifle, the dog returned bristling, and he dragged the dog out of the woods.

The witness and his father were walking out of the woods at Number 7 when the father spotted what looked like a man draped over a fallen tree about 60 yards away. They watched it while approaching to about 25-30 feet, going around another tree and briars. When their view cleared, nothing was there, with no sound of anyone leaving.

At the witness's new house, dogs have been acting agitated and something bipedal has been heard moving in thick brush near the property. He has seen possible structures and rutted areas, and once at dark his lights caught what looked like a figure walking into the woods. A dog kennel door was found with its lock bent and a hole at the top, which he did not directly attribute.

The witness and his wife's cousin drove out to Number 7 at night in fall to buy cigarettes and listen for coyotes. In the headlights they saw large blue eyeshine, then a huge grayish creature stood up from behind a rise about 150-200 yards away. It stood, crouched, and stood again for five to six minutes, then vanished instantly when they drove for a better view.

The witness went coon hunting alone at night at the old Number 7 camp. While sitting against a tree with his light off, he heard something bipedal circling him and then shaking tall treetops and hitting the ground. He fired his rifle toward the sounds, retrieved his bristling dog, and left without seeing the source.
