The witness was driving northbound on a four-lane highway through forested land in the early evening. A long, skinny, dark-haired creature came from the left at full running speed and crossed all four lanes in front of her on all fours with an arched back and tucked head. She slowed and watched it continue without looking and disappear into heavy forest. She first wondered if it was an April Fools costume, but after checking native animals and other reports she concluded it was something else.

The witness and a companion were driving on a highway bordered by treelines and weeds near dusk. About 50 yards ahead, a large dark hairy figure emerged from the treeline on the left and crossed the road diagonally on all fours. The couple were night fishing from boat docks around midnight when rocks began splashing into the water on both sides of the cove. Two unseen sources on opposite banks threw large rocks and produced deep growls, screams, and howls in unison for an extended period while the couple remained on the dock. They eventually left the dock for their cabin and continued to hear the sounds from the overlook.

When the driver turned on the car headlights the figure covered its face and moved behind trees as the group fled in the car.
