The witness, then 13, went outside to a car at a relative's home to retrieve an item. After closing the car door, the witness saw a very large, dark furry biped crossing an adjacent field toward the woods with a long slouched stride and swinging arms. The figure covered a large distance quickly and entered the woods, after which the witness went inside and spent about half an hour trying to process the sighting.
