Daytime sighting by motorists along Hwy 6 near Glenwood

The witness and a companion were driving west on Highway 6 toward the coast when a large dark figure crossed the road ahead of them. The figure was first noticed from several hundred yards away and entered dense roadside forest with no path. By the time they reached the crossing point it had disappeared into foliage described as impassable.
