The witness was driving westbound with three family members and slowed near a bike-trail crossing. They all saw a large black figure standing on the trail at a distance, facing the river and appearing to have come from the woods. The vehicle did not stop and the figure was out of view in less than ten seconds, with snow on the ground and no other people on the trail.

Two people had been fishing at Caesar Creek Lake and were packing up after sundown when a growling/hissing sound came from the treeline. They shone a flashlight into the woods and saw green eyes, heard trees and brush thrashing as something moved, and smelled a strong scat-like stench. After watching about five minutes they gathered gear and walked back to the parking area feeling watched.

Two companions hiking back from a mountain trail claim rocks were thrown toward them from the woods over an extended period, starting with misses above and behind them and later coming close enough to duck. They also report hearing an unidentified whining sound, possible footsteps, knock-like sounds, and a tree being shaken, without ever seeing the source. Near the area they noticed a green limb broken high and left hanging.

The sounds were described as loud, female-like and frightening, with no accompanying movement noises, and the wife awoke during the close cycle.

He watched for about five seconds, noted it lacked a bear-like snout, then ran back to the tent to tell his companions.

The witness camped overnight in a sleeping bag by a dying fire after hearing a metallic clink followed by tree knocks that seemed to answer each other from two directions. The witness then watched a dark silhouette showing only head and shoulders peek from behind a tree about 20 feet away. In the morning a tied food bag was gone except for an orange left on the ground.

Six people were camping at a lakeside site late at night. After most of the group went to bed, the witness entered a tent set very close to the water. The witness and a companion heard splashing and branches moving behind the tent, then the witness saw an elbow-like shape drag down the tent wall.
