The witness and four companions were pausing in a hay field during a target-practice outing when the witness spotted a large dark figure rising from a blackberry patch. The figure walked across a trail, paused by a fir tree and looked toward the group, then continued into an adjacent field. The group went to the spot, found flattened brush and a bent-grass trail, estimated the figure's height against the tree, took photos, and then heard knocking beats and hooting sounds after birds flushed and dogs barked in the distance.

The witness was walking home at night near a creek when something began throwing sticks and rocks and following her. The throwing reportedly paused when cars passed. She ran to a bridge where the pursuer entered bushes but continued throwing objects, while she heard footsteps, smelled a strong bad odor, and glimpsed only a large dark figure. Footprints were reportedly found in sand the next day.

As a nine-year-old, the witness took a wrong turn while walking through woods toward an orchard and felt watched for an extended time. The witness heard a branch snap and saw underbrush moving without seeing the source, then later found a large footprint near a caution-tape marker. The witness came to believe years later that a sasquatch had followed and protected them until they recrossed the fence to their property.
