Couple driving home has night time sighting near Tres Piedras
Two people driving north at night reported a tall, black, human-like figure standing in the road. As their vehicle approached, the figure crossed from the east side to the west side very quickly, described as moving like a gorilla. The witnesses estimated its height at 7-8 feet and did not see its face.
Eight foot plus figure photographed peering into couple's RV near Red River
Early one morning while preparing to leave a campground, a couple noticed a large figure standing outside their trailer's bedroom window peering in. The privacy glass showed only a shadowy chest, head and part of an arm, which the companion photographed. When the witness opened a distant door and turned on a light, the figure was gone but quick footsteps were heard leaving down a gravel road. After sunrise they found large footprint-like impressions in the gravel near the trailer.

The witness and a companion were hunting and camping in the mountains of northern New Mexico. On the evening of Oct 2 the witness heard a scream/howl while returning to camp, while the companion heard stick-like knocks near camp. The next morning the witness heard the scream/howl again in the same area and the companion again heard knocks from about 200 yards away.
Professor and students discover series of large footprints crossing high mountain trail
The witness was hiking with straggling students toward a mountain lake when they found a line of very large human-like barefoot prints crossing the trail at a right angle. The prints were described as huge, wide, unusually deep, and widely spaced on a steep snowy slope, heading away from the lake. The witness told the students the prints were probably enlarged hiker tracks but privately regarded them as extremely unusual.
