Possible sighting of a juvenile in a backyard at base of Stokes State Forest
The witness was watching birds in the yard when the birds disappeared, then walked toward the woods to look for deer. The witness saw a dark figure on all fours about 40 yards away on a gully that rocked from side to side. After briefly looking away and returning with a companion, the figure was gone, and both reported hair standing up before leaving quickly.

The next morning the witness let the dog out and the dog went to the area of woods where the sounds seemed to come from and marked the area.
