Boy scouts see a tall creature walking fluidly while hiking at night
Three camp counselors were walking a trail at night when the narrator saw a tall, dark bipedal figure moving across a slope on the far side of a stream about 50-60 ft away. The figure passed near the group without answering their shouts, and a companion heard a rock-clacking stepping sound as it moved toward the stream ahead of them. The frightened group retreated to trees, waited until about 1 a.m., then continued out armed with sticks, finding no tracks afterward.

The witness said the sounds did not resemble any coyote, wolf, human, or other animal familiar to him. Later that night something large moved through their camp, and the next morning horseback riders they met said something had spooked their horses overnight.
Nine year old playing hide and seek comes face to face with a small ape-like creature
The witness, then nine years old, went outside at dusk during a hide-and-seek game to look for siblings in a pine grove behind the house. The witness followed glimpsed movement around the trees, then saw a small dark-faced figure with large eyes watching through a pine and moving to keep eye contact. A high-pitched noise sounded from the trees, the figure ran away, and the witness ran back to the house.
Daytime sighting of white creature near Dillon
Two riders on a small bike rode up a forest trail to a beaver pond and encountered a large white-furred creature squatting at the water's edge reaching into the water. The driver quickly turned the bike to leave while the passenger slipped off, glanced briefly, and saw the creature stand up much larger than a person before it disappeared from view. The pair reported the sighting to family members at the cabin but were not taken seriously.
