After returning from deployment, the witness lived in a rural house deep in the woods. A loud, unfamiliar guttural growl was heard about fifty feet away behind a tobacco barn. The witness grabbed a bat, confronted the area, and heard only silence, followed by ongoing small disturbances around the property including sounds on the roof heard by the witness's child.
