Sasquatch sighting near Garden Valley, Texas (2025)
A semi-truck driver reported seeing a dark, hairy upright figure walking across an open field toward dense woods in daylight. The figure was about 200 feet away, moving steadily with long arms swinging, and was watched for several seconds while driving past. The driver's spouse submitted the initial report, and researchers later interviewed the driver and visited the area but found no physical traces.
Two afternoon sightings by father & son while driving near Tyler
The witness was driving on a highway in the afternoon with a relative as passenger when the relative spotted an upright hair-covered animal standing at the tree line. They observed it for several seconds from about 20-30 ft off the road before it was gone. The witness turned the vehicle around and searched the woods on foot but found nothing, hearing and smelling nothing unusual.
Coon hunters observe large, hairy "monkey" in pin oak
Late at night in 1963, the witness and four companions were hunting raccoons with dogs in a creek bottom south of Tyler, Texas. After the dogs treed something, the group illuminated a large reddish-furred animal in a pin oak that was howling and screaming while waving its arms and shaking limbs. After someone fired at it with a .22, it growled and the group fled with the dogs back to their vehicles.
