Mushroom picker has ongoing activity in same area over many years near Grandy Lake
The witness was searching for mushrooms on a wooded hillside in the early afternoon. They looked down and noticed an old impression in a mossy patch about 15 inches long, broad at the toes with a wide heel and a rise in the middle. Small debris was sitting in it, suggesting it had been there some time. The impression was still present in the same condition when the witness returned that fall.
Couple has possible ongoing activity including their house trailer moved one night near Clear Lake
The witness was alone in the travel trailer at night while her husband was away smoking by the creek. She reported hearing unintelligible muttering outside and then feeling a hard push or jolt that moved the trailer. Her husband denied being near the trailer or pushing it, saying he had been about 60 yards away. No wind or other natural cause was noted.
Driver observes two dark figures on the roadside near Rainy Pass
The witness was driving east on a mountain highway near twilight when she saw a tall, dark, upright figure on the roadside about a quarter-mile ahead. As she approached, the figure slipped fluidly down a steep rocky ravine and disappeared. A few miles farther east, she saw a second, slightly smaller dark figure that likewise moved swiftly and smoothly down the slope, shaking small trees as it passed.
Hunter has a daylight sighting of a tall biped west of Darrington
The witness and a companion were hunting at the end of a ridge-top logging road and split up to glass opposite slopes. The witness smelled a rotten odor and heard crashing below, then saw a dark head, shoulders and upper back moving downhill upright for a few seconds before losing sight of it while still hearing movement. Visibility worsened with rain and low clouds and both soon left, with the witness not telling the companion at the time.
Possible footprints found and a cast made on the Suiattle River near Darrington (w/photos)
The witness was camping on owned property along the river [name withheld] the dogs stayed agitated overnight. The next morning a line of prints was found in mud by the river that appeared to come out of the water and go back in downstream. The witness photographed the prints and made a plaster cast, reporting them at about 13 by 4 inches.
Man has a close encounter with a large, upright creature in a swamp near Big Lake
After fishing, the witness sat on the bed of his truck at a parking area above a swamp at night. He watched a dark figure with shining eyes approach to within about 10 yards. After he whistled to announce his presence, the figure stood upright on two legs and retreated while watching him, tripped and got back up, then disappeared behind trees. He left immediately and did not return for some time.
Memory told of camping remote and unnerved by repeated wood knocks in the night near the town of Concrete
The witness camped alone on a gravel bar along a creek in 2006. Shortly after sunset he heard repeated sets of three loud strikes on trees from the forest to the south that moved between trees for about an hour. About 30 minutes after the strikes ended, a pine cone came from the direction of the forest through the campsite. He left the area the next morning.
Large animal seen crouching near Baker Lake
The witness was driving out of a campground near Baker Lake in the early afternoon when she noticed a large fur-covered creature about 50 feet away up a hill. The creature was still and crouching with its back turned, exposing its back, shoulders, hips and upper buttocks with sparse reddish hair and visible musculature. After watching for a few seconds and not wanting to disturb it, she drove away.
Hunters have something take up perimeter around camp near Mt. Baker
Three people camping while bear hunting heard loud howls and screams from the treeline surrounding their camp at night. The sounds appeared to circle the camp and continued despite banging pots and pans and firing a shotgun into the air. The group packed up and waited in their truck until about 4 a.m. while the sounds persisted, then left. They later found openly left food untouched and found no tracks.
Three hikers see something cross their path
The witness left fish out near a lakeside camp and went to sleep in a tent. During the night something entered camp, disturbed the fish can, and then ran into a swamp making loud noise. After the group built a fire and returned to tents, prolonged loud screams were heard from across the lake for about 30 minutes despite shooting, yelling and banging pots.
Daylight sighting by motorists near the town of Big Lake
The witness was coasting in a car with four children on a mountain dirt road in the afternoon when they rounded a bend. An almost-black figure partway across the road heading uphill paused to look at the car, then ran bipedally downhill into thick brush and disappeared. Three of the five occupants saw the brief sighting.
Recalling a morning sighting as a teenager horseback riding near Marblemount
The witness and a relative were riding horses on a ranch trail in the morning when the horses stopped and refused to move. After the birds went quiet and a branch snap was heard, the witness saw the back of a large hair-covered being about twenty feet away moving trees aside before disappearing. The horses then galloped back to the barn, and the relative declined to discuss what happened.
Sasquatch sighting near Skagit County
While hiking alone about 12 miles out on a remote forested trail, the guest smelled a powerful foul odor, heard subtle branch breaks, and noticed total silence. He saw a tall hairy upper body with one arm peeking from behind a large tree, which then withdrew and vanished. About 100 feet farther the figure stepped fully onto the trail, stood looking at him, then turned back into the woods where the guest later found a small purple beaded bracelet placed on a sapling.
