The witness was driving home from work late at night when an animal ran across the road in front of the car. The witness described it as very tall with reddish-brown hair and long hair on its limbs, crossing quickly in a few running strides. In a follow-up interview the witness emphasized its speed, muscular build, and flowing arm hair.

The witness and a companion were driving at night when a tall greyish bipedal figure ran from one cornfield across the highway into another cornfield about 30 yards ahead of them. It crossed ditches and the road in a few strides with its arms swinging at its sides. They slowed but could see little in the dark, and a next-day search found no sign because the corn on both sides had been harvested that morning.

The witness was a passenger in a car with five companions driving at night. A large dark hair-covered figure on two feet ran across the divided highway in front of the car, crossing multiple lanes in a few seconds. Only the witness and the driver saw it, and the driver stopped briefly before reversing to a turnaround and leaving.

While driving home at night with two relatives, the witness saw a large hairy figure on hands and knees chasing a small animal across the road in the headlights. As the car closed to about 15 to 20 feet, the figure stood upright to about six and a half to seven feet tall and walked quickly off the road in two steps. The group drove home quickly and a relative dismissed it as a large dog, which the witness rejected.
