In summer 1981 four young people parked at night with headlights toward the woods and noticed eyeshine high in the trees. When bright headlights were turned on they reported seeing a huge standing figure that turned and walked away, prompting them to flee in reverse. They returned in daylight the next day and noted a large circular area of burned grass tops.
