In 1972 four high-school seniors were driving to a party when a human-shaped, hair-covered creature ran across the road in front of their car. The writer described it as naked but covered head to foot in golden-tan hair about four inches long, moving fast with long strides while looking toward the occupants. It continued without stopping and cleared an approximately six-foot fence with ease.
