The witness was driving home from work at night in heavy ground fog when a creature stepped onto the road ahead and walked across to a partly cleared lot. The witness watched it disappear into fog and darkness, then after calming down drove home, ran inside, and locked up. The witness described the encounter as terrifying and reported sleeplessness for weeks afterward.
